Terms of Use
Last updated: 11 May 2026
These terms set out the rules for using Gdaymayte. By using the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
The most important thing to understand
Gdaymayte is a general information site. It is not a migration agent service. We do not provide immigration assistance as defined under section 276 of the Migration Act 1958 (Cth). Nothing on this site is advice for your specific situation, and we do not make any determination about whether you meet visa requirements.
For advice about your circumstances, speak with a registered migration agent (search the MARA register at mara.gov.au) or an Australian legal practitioner. We will never tell you that you are eligible for a visa, that you should apply for a specific visa, or that your documents are sufficient.
How we work
We publish plain-English information about Australian visa subclasses, processing times, costs, and eligibility criteria. We verify everything we publish against the official source at immi.homeaffairs.gov.au and we show the date of the last verification on each visa detail page.
We do not take commissions from migration agents. We are not paid to feature any visa, agent, or service. This independence is the point of the site.
Accuracy and currency
Australian immigration rules change. Fees move on 1 July most years. Occupation lists, processing times, and ministerial directions can shift at any time. We make every reasonable effort to keep the site accurate, but the official Department of Home Affairs source always takes priority over anything you read here.
If you are about to act on information you found on Gdaymayte (lodging an application, paying a fee, making a life decision), check the official source first and consult a registered migration agent for your specific situation.
How you can use the site
You may browse, share, and link to anything on Gdaymayte for personal, non-commercial use.
You may not:
- Use automated tools to scrape large portions of the site
- Republish our content in full without permission
- Use the site or its content in a way that could mislead someone about Australian immigration law
- Attempt to access systems or data you are not authorised to access
Intellectual property
The content on Gdaymayte (writing, illustrations, layout, code) is owned by Gdaymayte unless otherwise stated. Visa subclass numbers and government data are not owned by us and remain in the public domain. Where we quote IMMI or other official sources, those quotes belong to their respective owners.
User-submitted content
When you send us feedback or contact us, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to use that feedback to improve the site. We will not publish your message publicly without your permission.
Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to that, Gdaymayte provides this site “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity, expense, or consequential loss) that results from your reliance on information published on the site. Immigration decisions are serious, and they are yours to make with proper advice.
Linking to other sites
We link to official government pages, the MARA register, and other resources. We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for their content.
Changes to these terms
When we change these terms, the “Last updated” date at the top changes. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. The courts of the relevant Australian state or territory have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
